Caloocan offers free harelip surgery

MANILA, Philippines - The Caloocan City government is offering free surgery for residents with harelip as part of the celebration of Caloocan’s 51st anniversary.
Residents have until Feb. 14 to sign up for surgery at the President Diosdado Macapagal Memorial Medical Center, Mayor Enrico Echiverri said in a statement, adding that they should present documents that will prove they are residents of Caloocan.
He said doctors from New Zealand, Germany and Australia will take part in the medical mission.
