Quezon Avenue closed for ‘Wowowillie’

MANILA, Philippines - Motorists should avoid Quezon Ave­nue from midnight until 2 p.m. today as two of its outermost lanes near the Delta Theater will be closed for the launch of TV5’s “Wowowillie” show, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said yesterday.

The MMDA said the show’s organizers asked for the closure of the two lanes because they will install ramps for the stunts that will be done by bikers and skateboarders.

Examiner street along Quezon Avenue leading to West Avenue can be used as alternate route from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., the MMDA said.
