Traveler charged for smuggling shabu

MANILA, Philippines -  The Bureau of Customs filed yesterday before the Department of Justice drug and smuggling charges against Filipino returning from Hong Kong.

Roendo Ariata was reportedly caught with 7.05 kilos of shabu, with a street value of around P56 million, hidden in milk boxes stuffed in his luggage when he arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Jan. 8.
