Janine to visit Rizal Park

MANILA, Philippines - Miss Universe first runner-up Janine Tugonon is set to visit Rizal Park this afternoon to pay her respects to national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.

Tugonon “personally allotted time to visit and experience the beauty and grandeur that Rizal Park has to offer,” National Parks and Development Committee executive director Juliet Villegas said yesterday.

She said that after offering flowers at Rizal’s monument, Tugonon will tour the park on a carriage so she could see its beauty and the improvements made in the area.

Tugonon will be of great help in promoting Rizal Park as the premier urban park destination in the Philippines and in other countries as well, Villegas said.
