Valenzuela lotto player wins P16-M jackpot

MANILA, Philippines - A player from Valenzuela City won the P16-million jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto online lottery draw last Thursday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the still unidentified player picked the six-digit winning number combination 23-11-25-18-9-3 for the Super Lotto draw.

Rojas said the winner bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Barangay Karuhatan in Valenzuela.

He said that 154 others won second prize and got P56,000 each after they got the five digits of the six-digit winning combination.

Meanwhile, the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto draw tonight is expected to hit the P93 million or more depending on the ticket sales.

Rojas said if nobody wins the jackpot of the Grand Lotto, the prize would breach P100 million for the first time this year.

He advised lotto fans to buy their tickers early to avoid the last minute rush.
