Valenzuela councilor’s aide stabbed 24 times
MANILA, Philippines - An aide of a councilor in Valenzuela City was stabbed 24 times by his alleged lover Tuesday.
Domingo Dimas, 38, alias “Dodgze,” a staff of District 2 Councilor Lorena Natividad-Borja, and resident of 283 Vila Martha Subdivision, Barangay Parada, was declared dead on arrival at the Valenzuela Medical Center.
Dimas succumbed to stab wounds in the neck, face, arms and different parts of the body, according to homicide section chief SPO2 Armando Delima of the Valenzuela police.
Police have yet to identify the suspect, described as about 5’ 10” tall and with a heavy build.
The victim’s nephew, Jerico James Dimas, 18, told police that the suspect arrived in their home at 2:30 p.m. and proceeded to the victim’s room on the second floor.
After two hours, the younger Dimas said that he saw the suspect’s shirt and pants bloodied before he escaped.
Investigators are eyeing robbery as the motive for the killing because the victim’s mobile phone, jewelry and an undetermined amount of cash were missing.
Borja said Dimas was scheduled to leave for Hong Kong for a vacation when he met his tragic death.
