2 school janitors nabbed for molesting preschooler

MANILA, Philippines - Two janitors of the Our Lady of Divine Grace School in Sampaloc, Manila were arrested Monday afternoon after allegedly molesting a four-year-old student in the school premises. 

The preschooler told her mother about the incident as they headed home from school. The woman and her daughter proceeded to the Manila Police District Station 4 to report the attack.

Station commander Superintendent James Afalla formed a team and arrested Jimboy Mayor, 19, and his fellow janitor, a 16-year-old male, in the school.   

Afalla said the suspects will be charged with rape in relation to Republic Act 7610, the anti-child abuse law, before the city prosecutor’s office.
