MANILA, Philippines - Four men, including two Chinese nationals, were arrested and three kilos of shabu seized during a drug bust in Quezon City yesterday morning.
Sam Ming Hei, 22; Ming Tony Molina, 28; Bayron Pornillosa, 32, and Arnold Laluces, 44 allegedly agreed to sell shabu for P3 million a kilo to an undercover agent. They were arrested, after a brief chase, at the corner of Economia and Industria streets in Barangay Bagong Bayan.
Personnel from the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF), led by Superintendent Ismael Fajardo Jr. under the supervision of Senior Superintendent Prudencio Tom Banas and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, staged the drug bust.
Chief Inspector Roque Merdegia of the AIDSOTF alleged that the four suspects are part of a group selling shabu “wholesale” in Libis and San Juan City. The street price for shabu is P5 million per kilo.
