MANILA, Philippines - A fire of still undetermined origin gutted a warehouse in Caloocan City yesterday.
City fire marshal Superintendent Roel Jeremy Diaz said the fire, which broke out at around 8:09 p.m. Thursday, razed the Alliance Commodity warehouse owned by Joseph Tuazon before it was put out nearly 13 hours later, at around 9:50 a.m. yesterday.
Diaz said the value of items lost in fire has yet to be established, but sources said this could go into millions of pesos.
The fire destroyed road paving supplies, two forklifts, two Isuzu Elf trucks, a van and a Ford Fiera, officials said.
