2 arrested for nurse's rob-slay

MANILA, Philippines - Two men who allegedly robbed and killed a nurse of the Pasay City health office last week were arrested at the boundary of Pasay and Parañaque Wednesday night.

Police said Robert Espidion, 32; and Leo Navarra, 28, were caught in Barangay Sto. Niño, where they reside.

They are accused of robbing Restituto Cruz at around 8 p.m. on Sept. 7. Cruz ran after them but tripped and hit his head on the pavement. He died on Sept. 11. – Aie Balagtas See, Perseus Echeminada
