Call center employee's house burglarized

MANILA, Philippines - A computer specialist found that burglars had broken into his rented house and taken nearly P200,000 in cash and valuables while he was at work at a call center in Caloocan City yesterday.

Jay Chiong said he lost three laptops worth P100,000, an undetermined amount of money, and several credit and identification cards.

Chiong said he locked the doors before leaving the house at a little past midnight yesterday. When he went home at around 4 a.m., he noticed the window grills and jalousies had been removed. When he checked his room, he found it in disarray and his belongings missing.
