MANILA, Philippines - Eight Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) workers laying asphalt at the intersection of Taft Avenue and EDSA figured in a brawl with four drunk men at past midnight yesterday.
Police said one of the drunk men, Bryan Manuel, allegedly deliberately kicked an early warning device. One of the DPWH workers confronted him and the argument led to a brawl.
Manuel and DPWH worker Carlito Bajinting, 51, were hurt. The four men and the DPWH workers swapped attempted homicide charges.
