2 BI officials kinasuhan

MANILA, Philippines - Dalawang top brass officials ng Bureau of Immigration ang kinasuhan sa tanggapan ng Ombudsman dahil sa sinasabing illegal na pagsibak sa dalawang contractual confidential agent.

Sinampahan ng kasong administratibo sina BI Commissioner Ricardo David at deputy Commissioner Siegred Mison dahil sa grave misconduct, oppression at conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.

Ayon kina Amiel Buenaventura ng #379 F. Ortigas St.,Mandaluyong City; at Eduardo Batang ng 1 D Alley 21, Project 6, Quezon City, walang basehan at wala silang nalalaman na may nagawa silang kasalanan sa trabaho o sa mga kawani rito kaya nagtataka sila kung bakit tinanggal ng hindi ipinaliwanag ang kanilang nagawang kamalian kung mayroon man.

“In the interest of the service and pursuant to the provisions of existing laws, all orders involving the appointment, promotion, transfer, reinstatement, re-employment, detail, reassignment, demotion, separation and other personnel actions in the Bureau of Immigration shall require the prior approval of the Secretary and/or the Undersecretary-in-charge of the bureau.

This requirements shall likewise apply to the engagement of confidential agents through contract of service as well as the detail, transfer, renewal and termination thereof,” ayon sa DoJ Department Order No. 144.
