Valenzuela firm loses payroll money to robbers

- Pete Laude - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Five men on two motorcycles robbed a manpower agency of payroll money in Valenzuela City Saturday.

Alfredo Glor, 62, cashier of RBM Manpower Services in Barangay Canumay East, told police that three men, pretending to be job applicants, entered their office at around 9 a.m.

Two of the men then drew revolvers and told Glor to hand them the money – P52,000 meant to pay the salaries of the firm’s personnel – and his cell phone. After getting the loot, the robbers escaped on two motorcycles, each driven by an accomplice who served as a lookout during the heist.
