MANILA, Philippines - Two customers at a Pasay City videoke bar were stabbed after they argued with customers at another table over whose turn it is at the microphone before dawn Sunday.

Police said Jonathan Ybanez, 24, was stabbed with an icepick in the chest, while his friend, Francisco Escuerdo, 22, was hit in the left arm. They were rushed to San Juan de Dios Hospital and are in stable condition.

According to a report signed by Chief Inspector Joey Goforth, the victims were drinking at the Nicolas videoke bar and restaurant at the corner of EDSA and F.B. Harrison street when they were confronted by a group of men. They argued over whose turn it is to use the microphone. A waiter was able to stop the argument before it turned into a brawl.

However, when the victims were about to go home, the same group allegedly approached them again and the confrontation led to a bloody brawl.
