NBI holds workshop on medico-legal reporting
MANILA, Philippines - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) recently conducted a four-day writing workshop on medico-legal reporting, which tackled among others the importance of forensics work in helping solve cases.
The event was held from June 19 to 22 at the NBI headquarters training room in Manila.
Dr. Alvin David, chief of the NBI medico-legal division, said the workshop provided the participants with the latest forensic technology and modalities and oriented them to be globally competitive forensic practitioners.
Aside from David, NBI deputy director for technical services lawyer Reynaldo Esmeralda attended the workshop along with NBI officer-in-charge Nonnatus Ceasar Rojas and Ruel Lasala, the NBI deputy director for intelligence services.
David presented his training experiences in Sweden and Germany in 2010.
