- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Northern Police District (NPD) yesterday identified the alleged gunman in the murder of a Bulacan village chief, who was shot in front of a cockpit in Valenzuela City last Sunday.

NPD director Chief Superintendent Antonio Decano said suspect Danilo Lusung, of Tondo, Manila, was tagged by two witnesses in the killing of Lauro Bartolo, 55, chairman of Barangay Libtong in Meycauayan, Bulacan.

Decano said Lusung is also facing a murder case for the killing of Ronald Marinas last April 22 along MacAthur Highway in Barangay Marulas.

Reports said that Lusung has at least three other pending warrants of arrest for rape, frustrated murder and another murder case in different courts in Metro Manila.
