Gov't to repatriate cancer-stricken OFW

- Pia Lee-Brago - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah is arranging the repatriation of a 64-year-old undocumented overseas Filipino worker who is suffering from pancreatic cancer.

Danilo Tayao, who used to work as a driver, was referred to the Consulate’s medical response team on the night of May 24 after he complained of severe pain.

The consulate learned that Tayao was diagnosed with chronic liver disease, with pancreatic cancer as the most probable cause, at the King Fahad Hospital, where he is now receiving medical care.
