Man jumps from Binondo building

MANILA, Philippines – A unidentified man died after he allegedly jumped from the ninth floor of a commercial and residential building in Binondo, Manila yesterday.

Meisic police station commander Superintendent Ferdinand Quirante described the victim as having blond hair, clad in a white shirt and black slacks. No identification was found on the victim’s person.

The man jumped from the ninth floor fire exit of the Pacific Centre building at around 1 p.m. and landed on the mezzanine, hitting his head on a generator.

A witness said the man may have been a customer at one of the restaurants in the building.
