2 suspects in Malabon slay tied to rebels

MANILA, Philippines - The two alleged hired assassins who shot dead an urban poor group leader inside his house in Malabon City last Wednesday are reportedly members of a rebel group.
Sources claimed that the gunmen of Ernesto Gulfo, 52, president of Catmon Ville Homeowners Association in Barangay Catmon, were spotted roaming at a squatters’ area at Sitio 6, in the same village.
The suspects were described to be around 30 to 36 years old, both slim built with fair complexion and stand 5’3” to 5’5.”
