Manila, Philippines - The Quezon City government is planning to train high school students to be junior traffic enforcers this June, especially in areas near their schools, an official said yesterday.
“The students will be familiarized with basic traffic signs, rules and regulations and road safety information in preparation for fielding them as junior traffic enforcers this class opening,” city department of public order and safety chief Elmo San Diego said. He said fielding the junior enforcers near their schools will encourage young people to follow traffic rules and road safety tips.
