Man stabbed, pushed out of moving bus

Manila, Philippines - A man was stabbed and pushed out of a moving bus along EDSA by a group of teenagers in Quezon City before dawn yesterday.

Police said the man, identified as Juan Paolo Arizala based on an identification card found in his possession, suffered a stab wound in his chest and was unconscious after he hit the pavement on EDSA’s southbound lane near Project 7.

A gasoline station attendant told police that a group of teenagers pushed the victim from the moving bus at around 2 a.m. The victim was taken to the East Avenue Medical Center.

Investigators are trying to determine the motive for the attack.
