MANILA, Philippines - A female sales executive committed suicide by hanging inside her home in Pasig City at dawn yesterday. Police identified the suicide victim as Heidi Reyes, 29, a single parent.
She was found lifeless by her father, Romeo, 61, inside their house at 128-F Mariano street, Barangay De la Paz at 3 a.m.
Romeo rushed her to the nearby hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
A nylon cord was looped around her neck, probers said.
The victim’s relatives are puzzled as to why Reyes ended her life, saying she was even planning to have a swimming party with her family this summer.
