MANILA, Philippines - A resident chanced upon a fetus that had already been partly eaten by a stray dog in Mandaluyong City yesterday.
Carmen Baker, 40, found the fetus – already minus its head – at about 7 a.m. It was placed in a plastic bag. She buried the body in a vacant lot.
However, when news of the discovery reached another resident, Celia Ragrag, 52, called up the police, who dug up the fetus and brought it to the Rizal Funeral Homes to give it a decent burial, according to Police Officer 3 Ambrosio Gam.
