Justice elusive for slain broadcaster

MANILA, Philippines - Justice remains elusive for slain radio broadcaster Marlina ``Len’’ Sumera.

The victim’s family yesterday expressed hope that her killers would be brought behind bars a year after the murder.

Sumera’s husband, John, and their children marked her first death anniversary on Saturday by lighting a candle at her grave at the Holy Cross cemetery in Novaliches, Quezon City.

John lamented that no arrest has been made despite reports that the gunmen have been hiding in Barangay Catmon, Malabon.
