Caloocan offers 1,190 summer jobs

MANILA, Philippines - The Caloocan public employment services office is offering a total of 1,190 summer jobs to the city’s poor but deserving students. 

Carlo Mendoza of the local labor and industrial relations office, said the screening of applicants for the Special Program for Employment of Students will be from March 26 to 28.

“The SPES aims to provide assistance to poor but deserving students age 15 to 25 years old in the form of summer job. Applicants must have no failing or incomplete grades,” Mendoza said.

Mendoza said that qualified students would receive a daily salary of P350. The actual job would be from April 23 up to May 21.
