Body dumped in San Juan
MANILA, Philippines - The body of a man suspected to have been summarily executed was found in Barangay Maytunas, San Juan City Friday night.
Police Officer 3 Cliff Hipolito said the victim, clad in a red shirt and denim pants, was found by a passerby along L. Gruet street. He said the victim was found with a hand towel around his neck, a tattoo that had been erased, and ligature marks on his wrists.
The victim had been shot once in the head and he had been gagged with packing tape, Hipolito said. He described the victim as a 5’3” to 5’4” man with a small body build, black hair, fair skin and about 30 to 35 years old.
Investigators found a .45 caliber shell, a .45 caliber slug and a roll of packing tape.
