MANILA, Philippines - Anti-narcotics police officers seized three sachets of shabu and a .9mm pistol from a jobless man at the fish port complex in Barangay North Bay Boulevard North in Navotas City Thursday night.
Chief Inspector Romeo Ricalde Jr., Northern Police District anti-illegal drugs division chief, said they were searching for a suspected pusher when they chanced upon Armando Castro, 41, with an unlicensed gun tucked into his waistband. When they searched him, they found three sachets of shabu in his pocket.
Castro was still being interrogated yesterday on his possible links to other criminal activities in the area, Ricalde said.
