STAR lifestyle editor's father dies

MANILA, Philippines - Lawyer Alfredo Fontanilla Martinez, father of STAR lifestyle editor Millet Martinez-Mananquil, died Saturday at the age of 91.

His remains were cremated yesterday at the Capilla de San Francisco at the Santuario de San Antonio on McKinley Road, Forbes Park, Makati City. Interment will be tomorrow morning at the Santuario de San Antonio Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Magdalena “Nita” Garcia; children Ramon, Anna Maria Gavino, Edgardo, Millet Mananquil, Lulu Santos and Antonie Martinez; children-in-law Lourdes Sison, Ericka Aquio, Luis Gavino, Nestor Gerona, Lolita Angeles, Tessie Gonzales, Diane Kniazzef, Robert Mananquil, Kit Santos, Bie Tanwangco and Tina Natividad.
