MANILA, Philippines - A 79-year-old retired public school teacher was found dead at her house in Navotas City yesterday morning.
Senior Superintendent Florendo Quibuyen, Navotas City police chief, said the body of Rosalla Samson of Gov. Pascual street in Barangay Sipac was discovered at around 9 a.m. after her boarders Henry Garcia and Loida Lucas noticed blood dripping at the ceiling of their rented room on the ground floor.
Senior Police Officer 2 Louie Serrano said Samson was bathed in her own blood and without an under wear when found by her relatives. The victim was lying on her back on the second floor of right above the rented room of Garcia and Lucas.
Superintendent Rio Gatacilo, the Navotas City police deputy chief for operations said there was no sign of struggle at the crime scene. The Navotas police is still investigating the incident.
