- Aie Balagtas See -

MANILA, Philippines - A 10-wheeler truck carrying 750 sacks of animal feed was hijacked by seven men in Muntinlupa City at past midnight yesterday.

Chief Inspector Giovanni Martinez said the truck (RFZ-886) – owned by Sahara Feeds Corp. based in Ringcon, Valenzuela City – was traversing Susana Heights when an Isuzu Crosswind blocked it at around 1 a.m.

The robbers alighted from the car and held driver Dominador Vergara, 37, and his four helpers at gunpoint. The armed men also blindfolded them before commandeering the truck, Martinez said.

Vergara and his crew were later dumped in Barangay Pajo, Meycauayan, Bulacan at 3 a.m.
