Tomorrow a holiday in Parañaque

- Aie Balagtas See -

MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino declared tomorrow as a special non-working holiday for those working and studying in Parañaque City.

Aquino’s Proclamation 329 will allow residents to celebrate Parañaque’s 14th year as a city.

In line with this, Department of Foreign Affairs’ Office of Consular Affairs along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard will be closed for passport services and document authentication but the OCA’s authentication division at the DFA’s Roxas Boulevard building will be open.

Mayor Florencio Bernabe Jr. hailed the declaration but said the city has decided to “scale down celebratory activities” for this year “to give our constituents a longer rest and recreation weekend with their families.”
