Revilla sibling, husband told to file counter-affidavits
MANILA, Philippines - The prosecutor handling the murder and frustrated murder charges against a sibling of Ram Revilla and her husband directed the couple yesterday to submit their counter-affidavits.
Assistant City Prosecutor Bert Fabros directed the lawyers of Gail Bautista Furuyama and Hiro Furuyama to submit the documents on or before the preliminary investigation resumes on Feb. 29.
The Furuyamas were not among the seven original accused by the Parañaque police for the Revilla slay case. They were only included through a supplemental affidavit filed by Revilla’s girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, during the preliminary investigation against the seven.
Manahan included the two because they allegedly picked up murder suspect Ramona Bautista right after Revilla (Ramgen Bautista in real life) was killed on Oct. 28, 2011.
