Fire destroys 2 houses in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - A fire razed two houses in Sta. Mesa, Manila yesterday, destroying P50,000 worth of property.

The fire started at the second floor of a two-story house, occupied by Nicanor Raz, on Doña Maria street at around 12:03 p.m. The blaze spread to an adjacent house before it was put out before 1 p.m. No one was reported killed or hurt during the fire, whose cause has yet to be determined.
