MANILA, Philippines - A lawyer for Janelle Manahan will ask the court to issue a hold departure order (HDO) against the seven accused in the murder of her boyfriend Ramgen Revilla.
Lawyer Resty Mendoza said Revilla’s sibling Ramon Joseph, Ryan Pastera, Glaiza Visda, Norween de la Cruz and the alleged gunmen – Roy Francis Tolisora and Michael Nartea – should not be allowed to leave the country if they are granted bail.
Mendoza said an HDO against Ramona should also be issued even if she is abroad “to make sure she cannot leave again in case she plans to come back.”
Ramona reportedly fled to Turkey days after Revilla was murdered.
Mendoza earlier said they would ask the Department of Foreign Affairs to cancel the passport issued to Ramona.
