Thieves break into SUV near Caloocan church

MANILA, Philippines - A pharmacist attending Mass with her family to celebrate the Chinese New Year lost cash and valuables she kept in her sport utility vehicle parked near the San Gabriel church in Caloocan City at around midnight yesterday.

Police said Regie Lyn Supangan found thieves had broken a window of her Ford Everest, parked along Caimito Road, when she returned to her car after Mass. She said she lost nearly P100,000, cell phones and car accessories.
