MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified woman was discovered dead in a motel room in Sta. Cruz, Manila Sunday morning, hours after she checked in with another woman, police said yesterday.
Police Officer 3 Lito Lopez described the victim as in her early 30s, nearly five feet in height, slim, fair-skinned and with shoulder-length hair. Except for slight bruises, the woman had no visible external injuries, he said.
The two women checked in at the Villa Fiesta Lodging House along Rizal Avenue, paying P280 for a 12-hour stay that started at 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
Motel staff told police the victim’s companion left at around 6 a.m., leaving the victim behind. Two hours later, a room boy found the victim’s body, already stiff, on the bed. She wore a white blouse, black leggings and rubber slippers.
No one has not yet claimed the victim’s body as of yesterday, Lopez said.
