Ivler fit for hospital discharge
MANILA, Philippines - Road rage murder suspect Jason Ivler is now fit to be discharged from the hospital three weeks after he underwent surgery to reverse his colostomy, his doctor said.
Dr. Romeo Abary submitted yesterday a progress report and said Ivler could leave Quirino Memorial Medical Center “provided no strenuous activities (are) to be done.”
Ivler underwent the operation on Dec. 19 to reverse his colostomy so he can defecate through his anus and not through a bag.
The accused, who is facing murder charges for the death of Renato Victor Ebarle Jr., was wounded when he shot it out with his captors back in 2010 that led to the colostomy performed on him.
In the report, Abary said Ivler is now on his 21st post-operation day and is now on a regular diet with normal bowel movement.
