TV crewman, businessman claim lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - A television crewman and a businessman claimed yesterday jackpot prizes of the lotto draws last week.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager, said a 30-year-old television production crew, hit Friday night the six-digit winning combination 01-12-11-41-17-38 with a jackpot prize of P4.5 million for 6/45 Mega Lotto game.

The winning lotto ticket was sold at an outlet along Scout Albano street in Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City. The winner, who is married and has one child, plans to buy a condominium unit with his winnings.

A 30-year-old businessman from Floridablanca, Pampanga also became the first lotto instant millionaire for 2012 after he claimed the P6,899,182.20 jackpot prize in last Wednesday’s draw. He intends to use his winnings to expand his buy-and-sell business.
