Businesswoman loses P2.5 M to robbers

MANILA, Philippines - Six unidentified men barged into the house of a Caloocan City businesswoman and robbed her of at least P2.5 million in cash and jewelry Friday night.
Police said that at around 6:30 p.m., the robbers – all armed with handguns – took P2 million in cash and P500,000 in jewelry at gunpoint from Evelyn Salazar, 51, then fled on motorcycles without license plates.
The heist was witnessed by at least three persons.
