2 bodies found in San Juan

MANILA, Philippines - The bodies of two men, suspected to have been summarily executed, were at the boundary of San Juan and Mandaluyong cities found Friday night.

San Juan police chief Senior Superintendent Rainier Espina said the victims were found by Richmond Tan, a resident of Barangay Maytunas, at around 10:45 p.m. along L. Gruet street, near the boundary of Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City.

Espina said the victims were repeatedly shot in the head, their hands handcuffed behind their back, blindfolded and had their mouths taped shut. Both men had “Sputnik” tattoos on their right leg.

Espina said they also recovered three spent shells from the area where the victims were found.

Tan said he was entering their gate when he saw the victims on the road.
