MANILA, Philippines - The Parañaque City police yesterday asked the Bureau of Immigration to put three of the seven suspects in the Ram Revilla slay case on the watchlist order.
The suspects are Glaiza Visda, Norwin de la Cruz (both under police custody) and Ryan Pastera (who remain at large).
“We did this because (Justice) Secretary Leila de Lima blamed us for Ramona’s flight,” said Chief Inspector Enrique Sy, head of Task Force Ramgen (Revilla’s real name).
Ramona is Revilla’s younger sister who is a co-accused in the murder. She fled to Turkey after recanting her statement that Revilla’s attacker kidnapped her on the night of the crime.
Sy said they could not have possibly requested to place Ramona in the government’s watch list order at that time because they still do not have a case against her.
Three other suspects – Ramon Joseph Bautista, Francisco Tolisora, and Michael Narte – are detained at the Pasay City Jail.
