MANILA, Philippines - The body of a man riddled with gunshot wounds and bearing tattoos of the names of a broadcaster and a government official was found stuffed in a rice sack dumped at a vacant lot in North Fairview, Quezon City yesterday.
Investigator Senior Police Officer 2 Mario Turiano said the name of Bernadeth Sembrano was tattooed on the unidentified man’s chest, while the name of Public Attorney’s Office chief Perside Rueda Acosta was tattooed across the victim’s upper back. Police said the word “homicide” was tattooed on the man’s lower back.
Turiano said a passerby noticed the sack at around 5:45 a.m. and informed village security personnel about it.
