Nadia files new case against Annabelle Rama

MANILA, Philippines - Former actress Nadia Montenegro has filed a new case against Annabelle Rama over the talent manager’s alleged derogatory statements against her.

Montenegro earlier filed complaints for child abuse, libel and unjust vexation against Rama before the Quezon City prosecutors’ office.

In her new complaint, Montenegro cited at least three instances on Oct. 2, Oct. 22 and Nov. 4, during which Rama in various television interviews made statements which she described as “offensive and felonious.’”

“They were derogatory to my good name and character and reputation,” Montenegro said.

The former actress had accused Rama of making her teenage daughters work for more than 40 hours a week and spreading rumors about them. She had also protested against Rama’s “tweets” about her.
