Ramgen, sister's text messages reveal rift over money

- Aie Balagtas See -

MANILA, Philippines - Text messages retrieved from the mobile phone of slain actor Ram Revilla indicate a rift between him and his family members over allowances and how the young actor maltreated his siblings.

The text messages obtained by The STAR  were between Ram and his sister Ma. Ragelyn Gail, 20, from Oct. 22 to 27 or few days before he was murdered inside their family home in BF Homes, Parañaque City.

One of Ram’s text messages on Oct. 26 read: “Bigay niyo naman allowance ko sobra naman kayo... sinira niyo na nga ako kay daddy tas ganyan pa... sobra naman yan Ga (Gail’s nickname).” (Give me my allowance, you’re too much you’ve already badmouthed me before daddy).

Gail replied to him twice. One of the messages said “Daddy really reduced it because he’s mad at mom. Your allowance should still be exactly 200k, but dad reduced it to 150k.”

Ram thanked Gail even as he asked her not to put him in a bad light in front of their father.

“Even old quarrels like when I tried to strangle you were used to make me fall from Dad’s graces. It’s not right to be badmouthing each other. Stories keep changing. And it’s all old stuff it’s not good if we keep quarreling, have texted Mara I hope all will be settled.”

Gail also blamed Ramgen and their mother for their financial condition. “It’s you and Mommy’s fault why our allowance just go to bills. You all want full payment. Even the kids only get a week’s allowance. We only get two weeks allowance for food,” she complained.
