MANILA, Philippines - A 15-year-old boy was beaten to death Sunday night by three suspected members of a street gang in Quezon City.
Earl Bryan Gealon, a third year high school student of West Fairview, died on the spot at past 9 p.m. along Regalado Avenue in Barangay Fairview.
Inspector Elmer Monsalve, head of the homicide investigation section of the Quezon City Police District, said Gealon’s killers have yet to be identified.
Security guard Eduardo Noces told police that he was on duty that night when he saw the victim talking on his cell phone and three men cross the street and attack Gealon.
Instead of intervening, Noces went to the village hall to report the incident. When he returned to the area with village officials, the victim was dead and his killers had escaped.
