2 nabbed for Ram Revilla slay

- Aie Balagtas See -

MANILA, Philippines - The two men who allegedly killed 23-year-old actor Ram Revilla were arrested in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque yesterday morning.

Investigators are also set to file murder charges against Joseph Bautista, 18, a younger brother of Revilla (Ramgen Jose Bautista in real life) for allegedly masterminding the killing last Oct. 28, a source told The STAR.

The two suspects, Michael Jay Cruz Altea and Roy Francis “Kiko” Tolisora, were nabbed near their houses in Tramo, Barangay San Dionisio at past 2 a.m. yesterday. They will be charged with murder before the city prosecutor today.

Their arrest stemmed from the statement of Ruel Puzon, a self-confessed hired killer who identified the people allegedly behind the murder.

“What I know is that Michael and Kiko were paid P200,000. They said Ramgen was supposed to be killed because he was bad, he defied his parents and hurt his siblings,” Puzon said in his statement to the police.

Puzon claimed the two suspects are his long-time friends and he was supposed to join them in killing Revilla.

‘Second attempt’

Revilla was shot and stabbed to death in his house on President’s Avenue, Phase 6-A, BF Homes Parañaque about 10:30 p.m. last Friday.

That was the second attempt to his life, according to Puzon. The group was supposed to attack the actor on Oct. 12 but they chose to run away.

“Michael said he and Kiko knocked on Ramgen’s bedroom door on the second floor, when they heard the sound of a gun being cocked so they ran out and got into their car,” Puzon said.

The source said Altea and Tolisora “admitted that they were hired to kill Ramgen but denied doing it.” Puzon also named Joseph as the group’s “contact” in Bautista’s household. A source said police are looking for Revilla’s younger brother.
