Cab driver shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - A taxi driver was shot by a young couple who boarded his taxi before midnight yesterday in Caloocan City. SPO2 Mario Solangon, officer-in-charge of the investigation and detective management section at Sub-station 1 in Bagong Barrio, identified the victim as Edgar Mahusay, 45, married, resident of Barangay Maysan, Valenzuela City.

Mahusay succumbed to a gunshot wound in the nape. Police said the victim appeared to have been robbed by the suspects.
