- Reinir Padua -

MANILA, Philippines - The naked body of a Batang City Jail member, skewered with two steel rods, was found Tuesday night in a garbage pile.

Inspector Elmer Monsalve, head of the homicide investigation section of the Quezon City Police District, said they have yet to identify the male victim, who is between 50 to 55 years old, 5’5 in height, medium-built, with fair complexion and with “BCJ 32” tattooed on his right hip.

He said a steel rod skewered the victim’s neck, while another pierced both ends of his torso.

Monsalve said scavengers Albert Miguel and Chritopher Guiroy discovered the body around 11 p.m. in a pile of trash along Commonwealth Avenue.
