Bank exec shot dead in Valenzuela
MANILA, Philippines - A bank official was shot dead by a lone motorcycle-riding gunman who passed himself as a postman, at his house in Valenzuela City yesterday morning.
Pablo Francisco Jr., 39, an assistant information technology manager of a bank in Makati City, sustained at least three gunshot wounds in the chest and one in the neck and was declared dead on arrival at the Valenzuela City Medical Center.
According to Senior Police Officer 3 Jesus Sagisi, the victim’s househelp said the same man knocked on their door the previous day, saying he has a confidential letter for Francisco. The helper told him to return the next day before the victim went to work at 7 a.m.
The victim’s widow, Cristela, 38, told police her husband was a “good man” and had no enemies.
